This time Pure White Dance Lab invites Weichia Su and Huaite Huang to be choreographers, work with young dancers and bring two works: “Free Steps 3x2” and “Corporeality” to Want to Dance Festival.

FreeSteps is a ten-years-project initiated by Weichia Su since 2013. The project is aiming to explore the most primitive status of dance and to re-explore the possibilities of dancing. This time we invite Weichia Su worked with Pure White Dance Lab to discover the possibility of young dancers’ movements, and shape it to the physical sculptures.

<Corporeality>
Choreographer: Huaite Huang (Former Choreographer of Cloud Gate 2)
In 2016, Huaite Huang started to choreography by “Corporeality”. Instead of telling a story or the thoughts, the choreographer choose to focus on the aesthetics of movements.
Huaite Huang saw the innocent, original, and essential physical state. The state can only be found in this age, and that makes the performance become a magic time.
